Workbench Update: Introducing the OmniStand

We have been working on this project for several months. There is still a lot of work to be done but the he design is close to being finished so we thought it would be a good time to introduce everyone to the OmniStand.

OmniStands will incorporate all you flight stand needs into one flexible and simple system. The fundamental pieces are shown below.

The mount will attach to the miniature and allow you to remove it as well as change base types as needed.

Playing Firestorm? Well you need a square base for that.

Want to use your miniatures with more then one rule set? What if you want to play full thrust? Simply unscrew the peg and switch the bases out.

OmniStand lets you buy just the stands you need and nothing more. Does your game only require 12 stands but you have 30 miniatures? With OmniStand you only need to purchase 30 mounts, 12 pegs, and 12 bases instead of 30 complete stands.

OmniStand will also come with additional accessories so you can add new features to your existing stands.. Remember these guys?

Our magnetic mounts will screw directly into the top of the stand and allow you to use the standard mount with or without the magnetic mounts. We also plan to have several types of mounts to support things like groups of small space fighters.

One final feature that is still in development will be the ability to add accessories to the base as needed. These will include items like our DiceDocks as well as numbered dials with indicators.

We are very excited about the possibilities for this product but we still have a lot of work to be done before it is ready. Let us know what options you would like to see in this product line.
