+ How do I attach them?
StitchAScales are sewn on similar to buttons. You can sew them straight across and a good needle will go through the plastic but for the best flow and movement we recommend sewing through the holes with a button stitch. See our tutorials for examples of how to machine and hand sew them.
+ How do I paint them?
StitchAScales take paint very well. We recommend you paint them in the frame before sewing them on to your project. We have had great luck using Rustoleum Ultra Coat as it bonds to the plastic and acts as a primer.
+ How many sheets do I need
Check out our sizing guide for both Foam Scales and StitchAScale. It provides sizes for each type of scale and a handy sizing block that repriesents the area covered by one sheet of scales.
